Welcome to my Blog
How do blogs work? To be honest I've never even really read anyone's in detail. Do I just talk about whatever I like? Seeming though this is my first blog I guess I'll let you all know what to expect.
The main aim of this website is to share my images that I collect where ever I go. Whenever I drive somewhere, my camera gear is usually in the passenger seat. Photography is opportunistic so it is always good to have it ready. Secondly, I am a volunteer wildlife rescuer so I may even share the animals I rescue from time to time.
You won't see many images that aren't wildlife based because well, I don't really enjoy any other type. It is my passion, I enjoy animals and feel that a lot of people walk past animals that are unique and interesting without batting an eyelid.
I only recently got somewhat "serious" about photography again just over a year ago as I was battling some depression. I looked at myself and said, "What makes Matt happy?" 2014 was an interesting year filled with some very big ups but some very big downs. Animals have always garnered my interest so I purchased a camera (AGAIN) and decided to start shooting them.
Over coming blogs, I'll talk about my battles with depression and how wildlife through photography and rescuing has turned my life around.
Until next time..

Looking good Matt, great honest and opening post too. I have had a rocky last couple of years, and my love of nature is what has helped carry me through.
